When the Roman Catholic Church I had been attending closed , as is the unfortunate trend the last few decades , I began to inquire as to a church close by within walking distance . With no transportation and disabled from work related injuries it can be difficult to get to regular Sunday mass , ect. Little about myself , served in the army as a aviation firefighter / crash + rescue during the first gulf war , corrections officer at MCIB State Hosp. and the Taunton State Hosp. a total of near ten years then in private sector in S. ME. in crises response and other programs in that area . At the time of my second injury I wa I'ms working no less than 80 hrs. a week . The most important achievement I managed is I as a single parent raised my two youngest children , both daughters . One of which is graduating from Ithica College , her major is in broadcast journalism . So that being said and I not lowering myself in the Eyes of God will point out that the pastor who presents as judgemental to the extent of embarrassing him self , his parish and denomination of Catholicism . There may be some contributing factors behind his demeanor but he need be the first to remove the log from his eye before this physician attempts to remove any splinter from mine . This parish is more than a ignorant priest and the parishioners are generally coming off as nice folks . Money is important here and I have only prayers and and love of Jesus . Maybe I can forgive this person at some point but as we know we are accountable for our poor decisions and he will still face the consequences .
