Lead Pastor Dave Beeson
My name is David Beeson and I was adopted in the family of God at the age of 6 years old. Unfortunately, I missed many opportunities from when I was saved until high school to really grow into a closer relationship with Jesus. My senior year in high school, I went on a mission’s trip to Monterrey, Mexico with my youth group and it completely transformed my life. For the first time I saw how Jesus was not just wrapped in my little American box, but God meant it when He said “For God so loved the World”. At that time I finally saw the big picture.
Since then, I have been on a mission to never miss an opportunity to share my story of faith and growth in Christ with teenagers and adults all over the Kansas City area. Now, 24 years later, I feel I have been called and given a clear vision to start a church in the state of Kansas. Together with my wife Victoria and our five, soon to be six, children we are starting Community Fellowship Church in the city of Bonner Springs, Kansas.
We feel deeply passionate about reaching the un-churched, and those who don’t feel they matter. My vision is to share the *G.O.S.P.E.L., which is God’s blueprint for Christ followers to go out into the Bonner Springs community and share why they matter to God, why He wants to be in a relationship with them and show them what “TRUE LOVE” (John 15:13) really is. We plan on doing this with a conservative Baptist Doctrine presented in a contemporary message.
