Bishop Kia Everett, MHS Bishop Kia Everett was born to the late Alfonze Lee and Dorothy Lee on March 3, 1972. Bishop Everett, was educated in the Philadelphia Public Schools and always excelled academically. In 1990 Bishop Everett graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Philadelphia and continued her education at West Chester University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. In 1995 after completing her Bachelor degree, she further pursued her education in Human Services at Lincoln University and she received her Masters of Human Services degree in 1998. Bishop Everett is currently working on her doctoral degree in Human Services at Capella University. Bishop Everett was married to Pastor Curtis Everett in August of 1997 and out of that union three children were conceived; Kayla (11), Curtis J. (8), and Cierra (8). Bishop Everett prides herself on her family and she does whatever she can do to make sure that the order of God is precedent. Bishop Kia Everett and Pastor Curtis Everett have been married for twelve years and have succeeded with the help of the Lord with breaking a family curse of divorce. Bishop Kia and Pastor Curtis are currently working side by side in ministry and working to build families. Bishop Everett is currently working in the field of Human Services as a Behavior Specialist Consultant and Mobile Therapist. She has been working in the field of Human Services for approximately thirteen years. She has used her professional experience to help her as an entrepreneur and she is the founder and Executive Director of It’s All About Change counseling services where she does individual and group therapy for families and individuals as well as business development. Bishop Everett has always been involved in the things of God. As a young girl she was involved with the youth choir, junior usher board, youth programs, etc. Bishop Everett, served as youth director, youth secretary and committee chair for pastoral anniversaries as a young adult. In 2000, after giving birth to her first child and after a heart wrenching but faith building and victorious situation, Bishop Everett, founded Life Changing Christian Fellowship, Inc., which was a ministry initially designed to meet the needs and minister to married women. Bishop Everett currently serves as the Executive Director of and Presiding Prelate of the fellowship. Since the inception of LCCF, Bishop Everett answered the call to the Gospel Ministry. In 2003, Bishop Everett was licensed as a minister under the Pastorate of Bishop Gina Hyde of the Restoration Temple Worship Center, of Philadelphia, PA. In 2004, Bishop Everett, founded and started Pastoring Life Changing Bible Church which is under the covering of Life Changing Christian Fellowship, Inc. She is currently the Senior Pastor of Life Changing Bible Church and her husband Pastor Curtis Everett is the Executive Pastor. She is also the Presiding Prelate of Life Changing Christian Fellowship, Inc., which currently has fourteen churches, ministries and businesses under its current covering. Bishop Everett’s goal is to please God and to honor the Lord’s church by building and re - building the family system through the word of God. Bishop Kia Everett wrote her first book in 2005, “My Way, God’s Way or the Highway”, which published and launched at her first book signing on February 27, 2010. She is currently working on two more books which will help to strengthen the family system. Bishop Kia stands on the word of God in particular, I can Do all things through Christ Which Strengthens Me and Jesus is the reason that I live, move and have my being
