Meet The Pastor
Rev. Gregory A. Ward
Pastor Greg, his wife Sarah and their two children, Gregory and Samantha, moved to Austin in 2009 to pursue graduate studies at the University of Texas in Hebrew Bible and Semitic Languages. Having fallen in love with both Austin and Redeemer, Greg joined the staff in 2013 to begin the third service of Redeemer at our Cedar Park site. Greg was born in Irving, Texas, and raised in Covington, La., just outside of New Orleans. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida. Greg and his family also spent a year in Jerusalem, Israel while he studied at Hebrew University. Greg has worked for a number of years as a pastor, in youth ministry, and in Bible software development.
