The scripture tells us the local church is "the pillar and foundation of the truth" (1 Ti. 3:15). This is, of course, because the Chief Cornerstone is our beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. From man's perspective the church has great practical value. This includes fellowship, instruction, encouragement, and challenge.
However, the focus of God's true church through the centuries has been and must remain Jesus Christ Himself. We are the Bride of Christ. Holy Spirit-indwelt believers are God's creation; individuals chosen for salvation by God's sovereign grace before the foundation of the world (Eph. 1:4-5). He is building His church for His own glory. God has revealed Himself through His Son by way of the Holy Scriptures.
Therefore, the theme of Faith Fellowship Church is the good news of Jesus Christ. Our chief activities are the promotion and application of the Word of God.
