Senior Pastor Travis Norris
Travis L. Norris Sr., is the Pastor of New Bethel M. B. Church in East Saint Louis, IL. Under his leadership the New Bethel M. B. Church serves as a model of ministry with a commitment to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through family enrichment, educational excellence, evangelistic outreach, economic empowerment, and community development.
Travis Norris is a native of Springfield, IL. He preached his first message at the age of seven at the Second Timothy Baptist Church and was baptized soon after. Travis Norris answered his call to preach the gospel under the Leadership of Pastor Claude Farlow in 1999 and was Licensed as a Minister by Pastor Wilbur Day in 2000 at Brown Street COGIC. Pastor Travis Norris was blessed to completed an A. A. in Computer Science in 2000 from Springfield College, a B.S. in Business Administration from Alcorn State University in 2002, and his M.B.A. in Business Administration in 2013. In 2004, he married Amtoni G. Pearson and is now a father of three children. He is known across the country as a sought after Evangelist, Preacher, Teacher and has spent over 15 years as an educator.
After much prayer, Travis L. Norris Sr. answered the call to the office of Pastor in 2008, and has been serving in this capacity every since.
