Meet The Pastor
Pastor Poke Shuler
Our pastor, Walt Shuler, also known as "Pastor Poke", has served over 35 years at Gateway Baptist Church. In January of 2019, he officially became pastor via church member voting following his father's retirement. He and his wife, Kristine, have three young adult/teen children, Madelyn, Mackenzie, and Isaac. His heavy burden for sharing the gospel with lost souls usually begins with his famous line, "What's your story?"
