About New Grace Baptist Church
New Grace Baptist Church is in Aquilla, Alabama. We believe in what are sometimes called historic or reformed doctrines, but our emphasis is on the glory of Christ. We love each other, and our meetings are true and sweet fellowship. Come visit us if you’re ever near southwest Alabama!
BELIEFS
As a general rule our church agrees with the majority of the early London Baptist Confessions of faith.
We believe we’re dead to the Law of Moses, but we also believe that the Old Testament speaks of Christ, so we teach the entire Bible verse by verse.
We don’t believe that any doctrine deserves special emphasis over another because they all come from and point to Christ, but we wholeheartedly believe in what have been called the “doctrines of grace.” We believe that God made a promise to His people even before the world began, and we’re seeing that promise fulfilled throughout history.
We don’t have everything figured out, but we learn every day. The best way to find out more about our beliefs is to listen to a few of our recent sermons or maybe even pay us a visit!
