OUR MISSION
Gospel. Community. Mission.
We have come together as a church to be a Gospel believing Community on Mission together. And the mission that we are on is simple: to know Jesus and make him known; to our neighbors and the nations.
ABOUT IMPACT CHURCH
As a new church in Whittier, we are a group of people who are amazed by the grace of God found in Jesus. As a result, we have come together to celebrate that truth and to tell others about it. We are serious about God but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

BELIEFS
We believe and are committed to the foundational doctrines of the Christians Faith: the inerrant scripture, the trinity, the divinity of Christ, the substitution atonement, salvation by faith alone, the Church as the body of Christ on earth and the bodily return of Jesus. In those ways we are very much the same as most evangelical Christian churches. But here are some things that make us unique.
OUR CHURCH CULTURE
--Grace reigns, therefore we are open and honest with God and with one another. We realize that God is Holy and we're trying to be; but sometimes we're not too good at it. So we're not afraid to admit our faults or to laugh at ourselves.
--Jesus is our only hope, therefore the gospel is the center of our worship and it informs our study of the Bible.
--People who have lost their way with God are important to us, therefore our church is not set up to cater to church people. We are more interested in making it comfortable and welcoming to those who have never been to church or have be away for a while.
--Following Jesus is not just a Sunday thing, therefore we get involved in one another's lives. We want to help each other live lives consistent with our faith in the gospel.
--We are still amazed by God's love, therefore we celebrate it regularly and look for opportunities to share it locally and globally.
