WE LOVE YOU ALREADY After moving from Michigan to Colorado, I thank God that through His Holy Spirit He led me to New Song after trying many churches first with an open mind.There is nothing compared to New Song. I was not sure what I was looking for, but the churches I checked out did not have it. Back in Michigan it was one of my personal goals to get back to church, as I had slipped away. From all I heard about New Song I expected to see a megachurch that I could simply get lost in like I had done so many times before. I heard that the senior Pastor, Loren Sandford (M.Div)was a prolific book writer-see Amazon- (along with his father John Sandford),an international speaker, a singer who writes psalms and spiritual songs to the Lord which we get to hear and sing every Sunday. They are songs from the hearat like Davidic psalms, happy and worshipful, reassuring songs wonderful band and singers. (see ITunes R Loren Sandford or New Song) I learned that it is a Father and Son Team and that their youth group, led by the anointed Nathan Sandford(M.Div) is rivaled by none in the spirit our young people are amazing and talented. I was kind of nervous but hoping that whatever it was I was looking for I find it there. The building was non-pretentious but I later found that much of their money received goes out to missions, feeding the homeless, going to Indian tribes, and Ukrain, etc..and it was what was in the temple that was so powerful! God's presence and anointing! That is what I was it! What I was missing! The tangible anointing of the worship the praise the worship the praise the worship the praise! The worship and praise brought God's Holy Spirit right there, He truly does inhabit the people's prayers. I wept like the prodigal who came home. I laughed that God gave me a new chance! The Pastor's wife Beth came to me and put her arm around me and said are you okay? And I said all I can do is cry then laugh. She said "we do a lot of that around here!" And I was hooked. Worship is parmount so if you are looking for a place that sings two songs and are done with, New Song is not for you. New Song wants everyone to have a "New Song in their heart". I was tere and did not even remember who told me or how I got there. All I can say is Come and See. I was changing from the inside out and did not understand it - it was like being born again again, if that makes sense. Come and See!
