Meet The Pastor
Lead Pastor Glenn Gilpin
Pastor Glenn was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming and has spent most his life in the Rocky Mountain region. He was raised in a Christ-centered and Bible-believing home, where he came to know Jesus as his Savior and Lord as a child. Since that time he has had a great love for God’s Word — the Bible. His life objective is to know God’s Word and teach its truths to others.
Pastor Glenn attended the University of Wyoming, receiving a B.S. degree in Mathematics. While there he was involved with Campus Ventures, a campus disciple-making organization where he learned more about how to walk with God and a still-greater love for the Bible. He later attended Denver Seminary where he was granted an MA in Systematic Theology.
He has been happily married to Cathy since 1982, and they have a daughter Amber. He has been in full-time ministry for 35 years — a pastor for 32 of those. Before coming to Village he served small churches in Wyoming and Southern Colorado. He has spent time on staff with Campus Ventures student ministry and parts of five summers in short-term missions. In addition, he has worked as a surveyor and mechanical draftsman.
