Our mission is to share the Love of God in such a way that will meet people’s needs in the congregation, community and beyond, to perfect the saints by training and equipping the believer to do the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ. In this context, we strive to prepare disciples to move forward into their God-given destiny, thus, bringing in the harvest of evangelizing souls on the local, state, national and international level.

Welcome to The Sanctuary of Faith and Glory! We are a church where “Everybody is somebody and Jesus is Lord!” We invite you to magnify the Lord with us and exalt his name together. Psalm 34:3. As we lift up the name of Jesus, he will draw all men unto himself.

MINISTRIES -
As we are many members of one body in Christ, so is the local church with many ministries and committees. These organized groups of members are for kingdom building and for the assembling of ourselves together. (Hebrews 10:25)
**Missionaries: Each of us is a missionary, which means to spread the knowledge of, and to convert sinners to God.
•Senior Missionaries: Adult members of the church performing charitable Work. Visits the sick and shut-in. etc.
**Ushers: “Doorkeepers” of God’s house. They meet, greet, secure seats for the worshippers and administer to the comfort of members and visitors.
•Senior Ushers: Any adult may join. Junior Ushers: Ages 10-17 years old.
•Greeters: Our Greeters always have a smile for you. They are here to help you with whatever problem you may have or just helping you find a seat.
**Nurses Unit: Serve with ushers. Adult members. They give aid and comfort where and when needed.
**Church Aide:
Adult members. They help to supply and maintain the interior of the church. Give aid and comfort where needed. Supply water, etc. pulpit.
**Altar Worker: Take babies when mother at altar for prayer. Give Mothers covering if needed. They also assist all individuals during prayer at the Pastor’s direction.
**Choirs: Render spiritual music and lead the congregation in songs of praise at regular worship service or any service when music is needed.
•Inspirational Choir: Adult members who sing anthems, hymns and gospel. They serve at every other Sunday’s worship service of each month and other times when requested. Membership is open to all adults.
•Voices of Glory Choir: Made up of youth and adults from ages 8 and up. They sing contemporary, gospel and a variety of music. This choir serves at the second and fourth Sunday worship service and when requested.
•Men’s Chorus: Will sing to the glory of God in their special kinds of songs, including spirituals, gospel and a wide variety. All men are invited to join.
**Men’s Ministry: A close, friendly group of spiritual men working and performing various tasks of upkeep and maintenance of the church and its properties. Membership is open to all male members.
**Hospitality Ministry: They serve as hosts/hostesses when requested by other ministries for church affairs. One of their special services is preparing and serving delicious meals at special services. Open to adult and junior members.
**Mother’s Board: Visit the sick, help with baptism. Send out birthday/sympathy cards.

**Prison Ministry: Led by Rev. Jessie White who goes into the Prisons teaching and reaching the lost for Christ.
**Sunday School: This department is responsible for interpreting, guiding and developing all members in the Christian ways of life. Participants range from ages 3 to Adult. Meets every Sunday at 8:00 a.m.
**Youth Ministry: To minister to children and youth of SF&G by providing Biblical instruction, fellowship and outreach opportunities on age Appropriate levels.
**Media Ministry: Produces and edits CD’s of our services and have available for sale to the community.
**Women’s Ministry: Our mission as sisters in one body, is to see every Woman develops into the virtuous woman God intended her to be. Our desire is to promote sisterhood and oneness, display character and re-present the image of Christ as we press for excellence!

•Champion Ministry: Ministers to the need of First Lady
**Bethesda Ministry: Makes hospital, nursing home and communion visitations to those who cannot leave their home. This ministry is there to help in a time of need.
