BELIEFS
We believe that all Scripture is inerrant in the original writings and is verbally inspired by God.
We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who was born of the Virgin Mary and became man without ceasing to be God in order to reveal God and to redeem man.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the whole world and that He arose in the same body from the dead. He is our Great High Priest and Advocate at the right hand of God; He is the Head of the Church, and the Lord of the individual believer.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, who convicts the world of sin and regenerates and indwells the believing sinner.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, and that when Adam sinned he brought physical and spiritual death upon the whole race. All men are sinners and separated from God and incapable of salvation by good works.
We believe that salvation is a name, which describes the means provided by God for man to escape the penalty resulting from Adam’s disobedience to God’s instructions, and obtain eternal life in God’s family. This is received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We can obtain this position in God’s family when we confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, with our words, our life style, and through belief in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead.
We believe that sin can only be forgiven when a person submits to Jesus as Lord.
We believe that the believer’s life follows the Lord in obedience to His commands of Baptism and the Lord’s Table.
We believe that the true Church, the Body of Christ, was established on Pentecost after the resurrection of Christ. All true believers have been baptized into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit, and are eligible to be members of the local church.
We believe that each believer makes Christ the center of their life through: frequent reading of the Scriptures, fellowshipping with other Christians regularly, exercising a consistent prayer life, sharing the truth of salvation in Jesus Christ verbally and by lifestyle, should live looking for the glorious appearance of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will come again to receive His own to Himself, that there will be a great tribulation, and that He will come again to set up His earthly Kingdom in a thousand year reign of peace.
We believe that those who die in Christ go immediately into His presence and remain there until the resurrection of the body. We believe that unbelievers will be punished with everlasting separation from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His power.
