About Zion Lutheran Church & School
Zion Lutheran Church & School is dedicated to preaching “God’s Truth For You.” What does this mean? First, it means that we believe, teach, and confess the truth of God’s Word. We have no intention of hiding it (Matthew 5:15), and we’re certainly not ashamed of it (Romans 1:16). Second, without question, we have no desire to keep it to ourselves (Acts 5:20). We know that God’s Truth is for you!
When we say we have the truth, we aren’t referring to confidence in ourselves: We are confessing our faith in Christ! Here, we truly and wholeheartedly believe that God caused every Word in the Bible to be written for us (2 Timothy 3:16), and that it is the Truth (John 17:17).

BELIEFS
God has given His Church two gifts. The first is the gift of His Word. He has not hidden His thoughts, words, or actions from us. On the contrary, He made it to be written down for us! We give thanks to God because He has revealed everything we need to know for salvation (John 20:31). At Zion, we don’t preach man’s word, but God’s Word that endures forever! [Isaiah 40:8] The second gift that God has given His Church is the gift of the Sacraments, namely, Holy Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper. We treasure God’s gifts to us the way in which He has given them! Although reason cannot comprehend it, faith believes what God has said: “Baptism now saves you” (1 Peter 3:21), and “Take and eat, this is My Body given for you” (Luke 22:19).
