Meet The Pastor
Reverend Antonie E. Walker
Antonie E. Walker is a Jacksonville, Florida, native. He’s married to his high school sweetheart Nicole, who are the proud parents of Antonie II and Minnie (their Yorkie-Pom). Since 2009, Antonie has been under episcopal appointment in the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. He’s on track to become an Elder in Full Connection and is currently in the Course of Study at Emory’s Candler School of Theology. In the summer of 2019, Antonie was appointed as Senior Pastor of the Riverside United Methodist Church on Macon, Georgia’s north side. Riverside is a predominantly Caucasian faith community with an incredible history of being “An Oasis of Love.” Their partnership as pastor and people is timely. The community is transitioning, and the congregation is anxious to “be for the world the body of Christ, redeemed by his blood,” in new and innovative ways.
