Pastor Andre D. Watson
Greetings, I am Pastor Andre D. Watson
I am the 5th child of 7 siblings to the late Mary L. & Joseph D. Watson of Texarkana, Arkansas. I spent 20 years serving my country in the United States Army, and in the process met a man named Jesus Christ who began to change my life.
I accepted Christ in the summer of 1989 while serving in Izmir, Turkey and 10 years later the Lord placed me under the tutelage and leadership of Bishop Dianne R. Collins, the founder and Senior Pastor of Faith Walk Ministries, Inc. I was ordained an Elder and continued to thirst after and grow in the SERVICE of the Lord by SERVING faithfully as the Associate Pastor in various offices within the ministry.
After more than 15 years of faithful service, Bishop Collins installed me as the pastor of the second satellite ministry; Faith Walk Ministries South which a later became People of God's Choice Church, Inc. (aka POGC2), where I am now the Pastor and Founder. The ministries name derives from Psalms 33:12 which reads, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance." (KJV) God continues to bless this ministry and we are believing Him for our own church building in 2018. Until then services are being held at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, located at 30 Mills Road in McDonough, Georgia.
I hold an Associate Degree in Networking, a Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University and in March of 2016 I obtained a Master of Arts in Religion for Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. I & my lovely wife, Evangelist Carolyn R. Watson, reside in Stockbridge, Georgia. We have three dashingly, handsome sons; DeAndre, DaVonn, and DeMarcus; a beautiful daughter-in-law, Keydra; and two blessed and highly-favored grandchildren; Cameron and Amauri.
God has designed me to minister the Word of God in a real, no-nonsense, down-to-earth manner. I challenge the people to COMMIT to God. This ministry is one in which every individual is accountable and responsible for representing Christ 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; because there are NO VACATION DAYS in Christ!
