Pastor Chris and Amy Hagler
Pastor Chris was asked to lead Rising Fawn Church Of God (just 4 miles south of Trenton, GA) as it's Senior Pastor in 1998. Since then, through the leading of the Holy Spirit, he has led this ministry to dramatic growth both Spiritually as well as in membership. The church was determined through a vision given to them that they were to build a new Church sanctuary and Worship Center debt free. Some in the community doubted due to it being a rural/country location surrounded by hard working blue collar workers. God blessed their faithfulness and after being in the new building just a few years, RFCOG is not in desperate need of a new Youth/Education building. This building as well, will be built debt-free.
Pastor Chris believes this church as well as many others should be a building filled with people of all color, ethnicity, economic status...coming together in one mind and one accord. Pastor Chris makes time to fly around the country preaching in African American churches preaching unity of our church body as well as our country.
Pastor Chris believes that one of the greatest lie (idea) that the enemy puts in the mind of people is that they must 'first stop doing things and behaving certain ways before they are good enough to go to church.' That's like saying you have to get well first before you go to see a doctor.
