Meet The Pastor
Pastor Daniel Oliveira
From a young age, Daniel Oliveira served as a church ministry, and in 1990 was ordained as a pastor at A Palavra Viva in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
He spent twelve years overseeing the publishing and media ministry in Brazil, including weekly translations of audio releases from English into Portuguese.
Concurrent with his work in the media ministry, Daniel and his wife Debbie, who is an English teacher, also supervised the youth ministry of A Palavra Viva, directing the church activities for young adults. The Oliveiras have also directed the annual youth program summer camp in Kalona, Iowa, since 2000.
In July 2007 Daniel, along with his wife Debbie and their five year old daughter Julia, moved to Hawaii to pastor the Hale O Nā Kāula Church in Pukalani, Maui.
