About Dr. Pat Hall

As a community we have dedicated ourselves to work hard and sacrifice for the sake of sharing Christ with those who do not yet know him. We strive to be a community that is different from the rest of the world — different because we see and value ourselves and all people like God sees and values people. Our goal is to be loyal to Christ and loyal to each other, serving in interdependent relationships so that no one is ever left behind. We take responsibility as a community for our mutual Christian care. We believe that it is precisely in serving that we are served. We each seek to use the spiritual gifts God has granted to us for building up the body of Christ. We believe that this is the community Christ intended for his church, a community so knit together in love and service that everyone finds a place. We are eager to share this community with all people. As Pastors we have been called to provide vision, leadership, inspiration, and Biblical teaching for this community. We have dedicated our lives to this mission for the sake of the Church and to the glory of God. Rev. Dr. Patrick Hall, Rev. Kirk Wilkie & Rev. Steve Bang

On September 26th, 2015 we want to launch a new Saturday 4:00 PM Worship Service that will integrate all persons in our community including any with disabilities. The outcome of this worship service will be to have these folks as a part of our service and to be a part of our community. They will be included, just as anyone else, in the ushering, the communion serving, making the announcements, reading the scriptures, singing on the contemporary music team and choirs. We will use the money for a new soundboard and special lighting, staging and possibly a used projector and screen, too.

BELIEFS

Core Values: In response and gratitude for God’s gift of salvation, through Jesus Christ our Lord, we affirm these values as we live out our faith and carry out our mission as a congregation. We believe all people matter to God, and should matter to the Church. (Luke 5:30-32, 15, Matthew 18:12-14) We believe the Church should make unchanging Biblical truth meaningfully relevant to the modern world. (1 Corinthians 9:19-23) We believe true Christians have a personal relationship with their Lord, are fully devoted to Christ, and seek continuous growth in faith. (Matthew 16:13-15; 1 Corinthians 13:11; Ephesians 4:15; Philippians 1:6) We believe Christ intends the Church to be a unified body of servants each using their spiritual gifts. (1 Corinthians 12, 14; Romans 12; Ephesians 4; Psalm 133:1; Nehemiah 3) We believe life in the Church should be filled with Christ-like love. (1 Corinthians 13; John 13:34-35) We believe spirit-led worship, preaching, and teaching are central to the life of the church. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 4:24) We believe small groups are essential for care, life-change, and accountability in the lives of Christians. (Luke 6:12-13; Acts 2:44-47; Matthew 18:20; Luke 24:33) We believe that we should honor and respect those given the gift of leadership by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 12:8, Acts 6:2-7; Hebews 13:7,17) We believe both service in the world and specific witness to Christ are essential to the effective mission of the Church (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 16:15-16; 2 Corinthians 5:19-20; Ephesians 6:7-8) We believe all things belong to God the creator and we are their grateful stewards. (Psalm 24:1; Mark 12:41-44; 2 Corinthians 5: 15, 8:3-5) We believe that striving for excellence and always doing your best honors God and inspires people. (Colossians 3:17; Malachi 1:6-14, 1 Corinthians 3:9-10; Philippians 4:8-9) We believe the Church should support families and parents. (Exodus 20:12, Ephesians 6:2, Hebrews 12:7, Proverbs 22:6
