About Berean Christian Church
At Berean we believe in connecting with God, each other and the world. We connect with God through His son Jesus Christ and use the Bible and study as the guide. We connect with each other through living the word, studying the word, having weekly services and fantastic fellowship. We connect with the world in the spirit of the great commission in several ministry teams.

BASH (Berean After School Haven) is a community wide outreach where children from kindergarten through middle school are picked up from school, get homework help, play, have a nutritious snack and meal. It is every Wednesday through the school year. To see if slots are available or to volunteer please contact Stephanie Ward through the church office. We are always needing cooks, tutors and teachers.
39 and Holding - This group of mature Christians meet monthly, usually on Saturday evening, to have a time of fellowship. They make arrangements to travel together to any number of local restaurants and break bread. To sign up for the next adventure contact Pat Sullivan directly orthrough the church office.
Margaret Russell Scholarship - This scholarship is to help young Christians with the financial burden of college studies at Christ based institutions of higher learning. For info contact Susanne Ward.
Men's Breakfast - Every month men from the Murphysboro community come together to discuss God's Word, meet other men and eat a great breakfast at Berean. To help with the cooking, give a devotional, or find out when breakfast is served contact Michael Duncan or the church office.
Other Opportunities - This is just the beginning of the opportunities available. We feel it is very important for everyone to find their talent and to apply it to build up the body of believers. If you do not see exactly where you fit contact the church office for ministry ideas.

School Supply Give-A-Way - Partnering with another church we provide 500- 700 backpacks full of school supplies annually.

We are Christians at Berean and we believe that a relationship with God can only be accomplished through His son Jesus and the Bible is the guide to that relationship. We have no creed but Christ and hold to no book but the Bible.
