Our Mission
NBCC Purpose Statement
It is our desire to see people commit their lives to Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and live in obedience to Him as His disciples.
[Jesus speaking] “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." -Matthew 28:19-20
NBCC Identity Statement
New Beginnings Community Church is a positive and exciting church where:
† we are coming to know God truly and experience Him intimately
† we are growing in our relationship with Jesus and with each other
(knowing that relationships which are the most deep and meaningful
are those relationships which are forged in the fires of ministry)
† we are learning to share God’s love with the world
NBCC Mission Statement
Working together toward our shared goal, we exist as a congregation for the following purposes (found in Acts 2:42-47):
† to worship God through our Lord Jesus Christ
† to study God’s Word personally and corporately
† to pray with and for one another
† to enjoy fellowship with one another
† to share God’s love and the material gifts He has given us with those in need
in our community and around the world
† to share the Good News of the Risen Lord Jesus
† to engage together in the common task of building the Kingdom of God

BELIEFS
The doctrinal position of New Beginnings Community Church is summarized in our twelve-article Statement of Faith.
We Believe:
1. The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the Divine and final authority for the Christian faith and life.
2. In one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. That Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
4. That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and Christian service.
5. That man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
6. That the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.
7. That water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation.
8. That the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the Body of Christ of which He is the Head.
9. That only those who are, thus, members of the true Church shall be eligible for membership in the local church.
10. That Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church and that every local church has the right, under Christ, to decide and govern its own affairs.
11. In the personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this "Blessed Hope" has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
12. In the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord; of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
New Beginnings Community Church
Statement of Core Values
We believe . . .
First and foremost, that New Beginnings Community Church recognizes that God has brought us into existence to be a congregation committed to becoming a New Testament Church, devoted to the Five Pillars of worship, study, prayer, fellowship and sharing our spiritual and financial resources. (Acts: 2:42-47)
That our church is to be welcoming of all who seek to meet Christ or desire to know Him better. (Matthew 11:28-30)
That God wants us to offer Biblical teaching and share the good news of the Gospel by reaching out to the lost locally and worldwide. (Isaiah 55:11; Matthew 28:18-20)
That our church is not a building, but is focused on building caring relationships and ministering to the specific spiritual needs of all age groups in a manner that encourages mutual respect, love and trust. (John 13:34-35)
That the culture of our church is one that generates enthusiasm for an ever-growing relationship with Jesus Christ; values open communication; is casual, yet professional and fosters a strong sense of family. (Ephesians 2:19-22)
That the mandate of Christ is that we make disciple-makers (Christ followers) who share their faith, are active in the affairs of the church, encourage one another and minister to the needs of the community. (Matthew 28:18-20: 1 Thess. 5:11)
That the church is to educate, encourage and support parents in raising up children who know and love God. (Matthew 19:14)
That the Church is to be a peace-making body, promoting and protecting the unity of the Body. (John 17; Matthew 18:15-17; 1Cor. 5:1-5)
That we are called to be good stewards of all God’s resources, and be especially transparent and accountable in the management of church finances. (1 Corinthians 16:1-4; 2 Corinthians8:18-24)
