About Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is a Christian Church serving the city of Washington and the surrounding area. We are a small, family friendly congregation that practices liturgical worship style with spirit-led preaching. We are a praying congregation that seeks to impact our community beyond our walls and develop a faith that is centered in Jesus Christ and focused on the Word of God. We are not driven to entertain the mind, but to feed the souls of all who enter through our doors.

BELIEFS
We are Christian with a faith centered in the Triune God with the Word of God, the Bible, as our sole norm for faith and life. We believe that we are claimed by our Lord through the gift of the Holy Spirit that reveals to us the Father and the Son. Jesus Christ covered all sin with his death on the cross and through our Baptism in Jesus Christ we too have been buried and are given new life just as Christ was resurrected. Our salvation is the through our Lord's work on the cross for us and we receive the benefit of his glorious gift. We are fully dependent on Jesus Christ and the promises given to us through him and our lives are to be lived in the light of what has been gifted to us in faith.
