OUR MISSION
Poimen members desire to grasp, clearly explain and accurately implement the Word of God into our practical life applications. These measures assure greater Christ-likeness.
Our implementations are simple: to pray with earnest fervency (Acts 12:5), and to search the scriptures daily (Acts 17:11). Poimen Ministries seeks to assist both the body of believers and the community at large in their spiritual, relational, emotional, and physical health. It is through prayer, worship, teaching, leading, encouraging, and serving that we meet these foundational goals.

ABOUT POIMEN MINISTRIES
Poimen Ministries (pronounced 'poy-main') is a non-denominational ministry that strives for greater Christlikeness. We desire to be "steadfastly attentive to prayer and to the ministry of the Word of God" (Acts 6:4).
We "worship God, seeking to better understand the testimony of Jesus, and honoring His Spirit of prophecy" (Revelation 19:10).

BELIEFS
We believe that in the beginning was God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus (Genesis 1:1-2, John 1:1).
We believe that mankind was made in God's image (Genesis 1:26). Yet as good as the concept of mankind was to God (Genesis 1:31), we developed some issues along the way (somewhere between Genesis 2:25-3:1); thereby slightly shifting (Genesis 3:24) the EXCLUSIVE presence of our Holy God from our TANGIBLE midst.
We believe that God is omniscient (Romans 11:33), and therefore was thoroughly prepared for such an unfolding. He already had a plan! And God's plan included Jesus to save all of mankind, and remove our sins from His operative view (John 1:29, 1 Peter 1:18-19)!
We believe that Jesus fulfilled His part of God's plan, and now it is mankind's turn to fulfill ours (Colossians 1:22-23). Amen.
