Meet The Pastor

Beth Matthews, Pastor
Pastor Daniel Taylor
MISSION: The United Methodist Church believes God’s love for the world is an active and engaged love, a love seeking justice and liberty. We cannot just be observers. So we care enough about people’s lives to risk interpreting God’s love, to take a stand, to call each of us into a response, no matter how controversial or complex. The church helps us think and act out a faith perspective, not just responding to all the other ‘mind-makers-up’ that exist in our society. SERVICES: Baptisms, Christian Counseling, Family Counseling, Marriage Counseling, Pastoral Counseling, Premarital Counseling, Spiritual Counseling, Weddings, Music, Preaching, Sunday School, Adult Fellowship, Adult Programs, Bible Study, Children’s Programs, Family Programs, Men’s Programs, Missionary Programs, Prayer Groups, Women’s Programs, Youth Programs. MINISTRIES IN HOSPITALITY: For families with babies or toddlers, our nursery is located down the hall from the sanctuary. Your children are always welcome in worship, no matter what age. The nursery is staffed and available to your family during the Worship and Sunday School hours. Children are invited to attend Children’s church after the children’s message each Sunday. A church volunteer will accompany the children to their classroom, which is down the hall from the sanctuary. Your child can be picked up after the service. (On Communion Sundays, the children will return to the sanctuary after the sermon and receive Communion with their families.)
