About Church Of Christ
The Roundup, MT church of Christ is a pre-denominational group of Christians who strive to worship God in the same manner as the first century church. In our worship service you will find the five items of worship that were observed by the first century church; singing, praying, preaching, giving (to support the work of the church here), and partaking of the Lord's Supper (Matthew 26:26-28, 1 Corinthians 11:24-26, Acts 20:7). You will find we use no mechanical instruments of music in our worship to God. We are told in the New Testament to sing (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16, James 5:13), no where are we told to use instruments in the New Testament. We, the church of Christ, speak where the Bible speaks and are silent where the Bible is silent. You will find no creed books written by man only Bibles in our pews. The Roundup church of Christ serves Musselshell County, MT and surrounding areas.

BELIEFS
God is Creator of all (Genesis 1). Christ is God and has been from the beginning (John 1:1-2). All things were created through Christ (John 1:3). God is Love (1 John 4:7-8). God created man (Genesis 1:26-27). Man sinned and fell from God's favor (Genesis 3). God promised salvation from sin (Isaiah 53). God loves His creation and sent His son (John 3:16). Christ lived without sin (Hebrews 4:15). He came to fulfill the law (Mathew 5:17) He was betrayed by one of his disciples (Matthew 26:47-49, Mark 14:43-46, Luke 22:47-48, John 18:1-5). Christ created his church on the confession of faith made by Peter (Mathew 16:15-18). Christ built One church (Ephesians 4:4-6). The Bible teaches that baptism (immersion) is necessary for the remission of sins and thus necessary for salvation (Acts 2:37-41, 8:12,36-39, 10:44-48, 16:14-15,30-33, 22:16, Mark 16:16). Christians are added to the church at baptism (immersion) for the remission of sins (Acts 2:41). Acapella singing is all that is authorized for use in worship (Ephesians 5:19, Galatians 3:16).
