Bishop Etta Banks Bio Bishop Etta Banks became an active member of The Spirit and the Bride Christian Fellowship under the leadership of Pastors Robert and Annette Stagmer in 1983. There, she faithfully served as trustee, member of the intercessory prayer team, Asst. Director of WIC (Women in Christ and Women in Crisis) support group, choir director and President of the Parent Teacher's Association at their academy. In 1989 Bishop Banks attended The East Baltimore Deliverance Church, where she established herself in outreach ministry, visiting hospitals, nursing homes and prisons. She was also a member of the Deliverance Team, The Board of Trustees, and she taught Bible studies and life skills to men in transition at Christopher’s Place Employment Academy. In 1994, Bishop Banks was licensed and ordained, then appointed head of the Couples Ministry for East Baltimore Deliverance Church. In January, 2003 Bishop Banks was installed as Pastor of New Vision for Life Kingdom Builders which she founded, and is vibrantly located in Randallstown, Maryland. Ministries include; Men’s and Women’s groups, Youth department, Praise and Worship team, Personal and Family counseling and Children's Church. Among her accolades are Evangelical Theological Seminary, Institute of Motivational Living-Certified Behavioral Counselor, Certified Gifts Assessment Counselor/Trainer, Certified Prison Ministry Counselor, Certified through H.A.N.D.S.’s Mentorship Program, certified Member of American Association of Christian Counselors and Member of W.A.R. (World Assemblies of Restoration). It is the heartfelt desire of Bishop Banks to inspire, motivate, empower, provoke and encourage others to reach their fullest potential. Bishop Banks, by the awesome guidance of the Holy Spirit, prays that those who come into contact with her will acquire a "New Vision For Life".
