About Pine City Baptist Church
The church has been in the heart of Pine City for 160 years. Transforming lives is the business of the church. The church is evangelical in its doctrines and faithful in its support of evangelistic and missionary efforts. It is brotherly and co-operative in its fellowship with churches of other denominations. While the church maintains the characteristic Baptist position of freedom under God, this Church actively supports the doctrine of the spiritual unity of all believers in Jesus Christ.

Weddings must be scheduled with the pastor. Counseling required. Fee for use of building, pastor and organist.
BELIEFS
We believe:
* in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible as inspired of God and inerrant in the original writings and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
* in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man.
* that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also that spiritual death which is separation from God, and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility become sinners in thought, word, and deed.
* that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified because of his shed blood.
* in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there as High Priest and Advocate for us.
* that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
* that the immersion of the believer in water symbolizes his death to sin and resurrection to newness of life.
* that the communion of the Lord's Supper symbolizes the sacrificial death of Christ and is a privilege peculiar only to those who are believers in Christ.
* that the New Testament order of a Gospel Church is a body of baptized believers, self-governing, voluntarily associated together for the service of God, observing the ordinances of Christ, and governed by His laws.
* in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
