Pastor Mark Statler
Mark Statler is a lifelong resident of the area hailing from Jewett in Harrison County. He has served in christian oriented vocations throughout his career which has given him a wide scope of experience to aid in his service as our senior pastor. Pastor Mark graduated from Ohio University with an education degree and after teaching for a brief period he was called to be a pastor, evangelist, christian counselor, and entertainer. He is an honored member and past performer of Jamboree In The Hills. He is the founder and president of The Statler Evangelistic Association and has co-hosted and co-produced "Feeling at Home" a weekly radio show on WWVA Radio. Mark is associated with Adoration Inc. Ministry where he is able to share God's message as an artist and performer. Mark is a member if the Titanic Historical Society where he serves as staff clergy. He is also a board member of the Clark Gable Society and he serves as guest relations manager for the Monster Bash International Film Conference. Because of Mark's close contacts in these industries our church has enjoyed testimonies from several artists and movie stars. Mark is ordained and licensed by the Believers Assembly Church. He has pastored a three church charge for Mount Zion UMC, served as associate pastor at the Carrollton UMC, and has served the health industry for several years as part of Alternative Home Health Care where he extended care and ministry to those who were older and required assistance.
