About Healing Water Mission and Wellness Center
When you visit, the first thing you'll notice is the old bus that marks the property from the highway. The second is the warm welcome you'll receive from Dr. Brenda Singleton and her husband Elder Jeff. Their ministry started over 30 years ago when they came from New Jersey to the Lowcountry. There was no Wesleyan (a Methodist Christian denomination) church in the area, so they started a church plant in Beaufort, S.C. The church was closed, and the building was sold due to zoning issues. Pastor and Elder Singleton decided to build a Mission Center on their private property in Hardeeville. Individual and family coaching along with the Bi-weekly Compassionate Food Distribution is a very important part of the ministry.
