Meet The Pastor

Apostle Darlan Rukih is the Founder of the Bride of the Lamb Ministries International
Apostle APOSTLE DARLAN RUKIH
The founder of the Bride of the Lamb Ministries International is Apostle Darlan Rukih. Apostle Darlan Rukih is believed to have been born in 1975 though there are no proper records on her date of birth. Her mother is Marashan Raya a native of the Sakwa people in the clan of Waora who are residents of Kadem in Migori County. Her mother is daughter to Cleopas Odongo Son of Ongili and Selina Agutu the daughter of Opole of Kadem Kakoth. Darlan Rukih was born in the home of Oswago Nyalwal of Kisaka Minyere in Karungu of Migori county in Kenya, where her mother was paid off to settle a debt between her father Cleopas and his Aunt named Dina Gigo Nyotieno who was a wife to Oswago K’oloo. Dina Gigo had no son who could take Marashan as wife, she therefore paid a price to her step son to live with her as a wife. In their family, they were born five children; one girl and three boys. Darlan Rukih is the last born Darlan Rukih was born out of wedlock to Maalan Nzambi of Zanza. However, her mother identified her as a child to the man she lived with in the Home of Oswago K’oloo. She grew up knowing that she was a child to the man who lived with her mother as a wife and even if she was asked about her father she would identify with his name as her father Darlan Rukih was born an intersex, however, her mother chose to identify her as a male because after giving birth to her, she realized that she was peeing from the male organ. She was also afraid to identify her as an intersex because such children were being killed in those days. For that reason, Darlan Rukih grew up as a boy and if anyone referred to her as a girl, she would deny and declare herself a boy. Darlan Rukih was not recognized as a male in the home where she grew up. They gave her defamatory names like “Awuor nyar Dichuo” who was a mad woman who had beards and other male features. They also called her “Gumo” who was a man with feminine features and was considered as an outcast in that village. They also called her “Ajeni nyar Kodongo” who was a mad woman with distinct male features. When Apostle Darlan Rukih was born, her mother was a worshipper at Roho Israel church whose local church was in Raguda village at the home of one Jectone Maganda. While her mother was three months pregnant, she went to a church meeting in Kadem Nyatuoro in the home of Musa Okech who was a member of their church. In that meeting she met a seer from Tanzania who prophesied to her that she was three months pregnant and she will give birth to a child who would serve God in the manner of Moses. When She finally gave birth to Apostle Darlan Rukih the church eventually organized a ceremony in line with the traditions of the church and she was named Moses in line with the prophecy. The name Moses gained Popularity in the village where she was born more than the name Darlan Rukih. Darlan Rukih was born a religious child who feared God and loved the people of God so much. This was contrary to the children in the home where she was brought up. They loved secular life more than religious life. Darlan Rukih was not loved by her people because of her truthful nature which made her to reveal all things something which did not go well with her people who liked concealing things. Darlan Rukih grew up a discriminated child amongst her family members because she was born a respectful child amongst disobedient children. 2. ORIGIN AND JOURNEY OF THE MINISTRY: i. Preparation for the service of God God having pre-destined Darlan Rukih to be a special vessel for his service, He did His works upon her to prepare her for His service; The seed of God: When Apostle Darlan Rukih was born, God had planted his seed in her which made her to grow up a truthful and a righteous child. This is very much evidenced in the way she never sides with evil. The revelation of God In 1979 God revealed himself to Apostle Darlan Rukih after she heard a testimony from her mother who narrated to her how God healed her after seven years of blood issue. It is through this testimony that God revealed himself to Apostle Darlan Rukih and made her to know that it is only God who can help a person out of his trouble. From that day Apostle Darlan Rukih dedicated God as her helper. The heart of helping the needy In 1981, God planted the spirit of charity in the heart of Apostle Darlan Rukih after she witnessed how one poor old woman named Rosbella Ochilo was buried inhumanly wrapped in a bed sheet because she was poor and had no children who could give her a dignified sendoff. It is through this painful observance that God revealed to her that there are needy people who needs to be helped out lest they suffer the same fate or more worse than that of Rosbela. Since then, apostle Darlan Rukih has been a sole standing philanthropist with a passion for the needy. The revelation of the congregation of God’s people In 1983, God revealed the congregation of his people to Darlan Rukih after she witnessed a violent division in church when leaders of their local church fought in church because of the division which had occurred at the headquarters of the child of God church where they fellowshipped. It is through this occurrence that God revealed to her that not all congregations where people call the name of God belong to God. Since that day she started being against false congregations. The calling to serve God In 1988 God called Darlan Rukih to serve him. At this time, there came some pilgrim servants of God from a church popularly known as Injili which was founded by Ishmael Noo Ooro. She witnessed how they were dedicated to converting people to God through their singing, teaching and by acts of mercy. This is what gave Apostle Darlan Rukih the heart to serve God as a pilgrim winning souls to God. Being chosen by God In 1991 God chose Darlan Rukih amongst her people to remain for him. This happened after she was falsely accused by her step mother which resulted to her rejection by family members and all who heard the false accusation. After realizing that she had no one on her side, she made a decision to remain for God. Since then she has been in the hands of God with God’s people as her family. Revelation of the gospel After the rejection by her family, apostle Darlan Rukih decided to seek solace amongst the people of God. At first she went to seventh day Adventist church but her question about their doctrines were not answered. This prompted her to move to Roman Catholic church. Here too she had questions that still would not be answered. She further joined Roho Msalaba Church where she started to prophecy sharply. That is where she was first called Apostle. One day she was sent away from church for asking questions about some of their doctrines which were not clear biblically. In late 1992, one Saturday when Apostle Darlan Rukih was in her mother’s kitchen meditating about where she could find a congregation with clear doctrines, she heard a voice speaking to her that the gospel which should be preached to the whole world is Jesus Christ. The voice revealed to her that Jesus Christ should be preached from the books of the law, psalms and the books of the prophets which spoke about the manifestation of Christ in the flesh, his death and resurrection. After the revelation of the gospel, Apostle Darlan Rukih joined PEFA church in assumption that they preach Jesus. When she found out that they don’t preach Jesus, she left without becoming a member of that church. ii. The call to establish the church of Jesus Christ In 1993 Apostle Darlan Rukih decided to join the congregation of Jo-Injili who were teaching about the errors about religions and denominations thinking that they had the true doctrines of the church of Jesus Christ. After a short while with them, she realized that they only speak about failures of other religions and denominations but they don’t know the way or how people can become the church of Jesus. When she questioned their doctrine, they rejected her. After leaving the congregation of jo-injili she was left alone without a congregation. At this point she started asking in herself where the church of Jesus Christ is and how she could get it because she knew that she could not establish that church because of the rejection which she had faced since her birth. After realizing that the church of Jesus Christ was not in existence and if it had to exist then she was the one to establish it. Bad spirit convinced her that she cannot establish that church because of rejection. Secondly she was convinced that the world is so wide that she cannot go to the whole world. Thirdly she was convinced that false churches had captured people in deceit. She was discouraged and the bad spirit told her to abandon worshipping God because she realized that people love false worship other than true worship of God. She therefore made a decision to abandon worshipping God and join her peer even though she had not indulged in the evil acts of her peers. One night while attending a farewell party organized by her classmates after completing her primary education with high hopes of joining her peers in their ways, her peers rejected her and refused to party with her because of being an intersex. Girls refused to dance with her claiming they want to dance with boys while the boys also refused to dance with her because they wanted to dance with girls. This rejection pierced her heart and she burst into crying and ran into an isolated room because of shame. In that dark isolated room, she started thinking why she was born a rejected person but found out that it is God who created her in that manner. She started lamenting to God speaking badly and putting the mistake upon God for contributing to her rejection by allowing her to be born out of wedlock, creating her an intersex and being born a religious person. While she was still crying and cursing the day she was born, she saw a great awakening light and heard a voice that spoke to her saying: “I did not create you for rejection, but I created you purposely to establish the church of my son Jesus Christ. I created you an intersex so that you may come to teach men and women how they should live righteously before me. If you accept to go and establish the church of my son Jesus Christ then the glory you shall have will be amazing” When she came to her sense, she went back home knowing that it is God who had spoken to her and she accepted to go and establish the church of Jesus Christ. The following morning, she took a machete and cleared a bush in the neighborhood and arranged stones as her audience and she started to worship there alone. That is how she established the church of Jesus Christ which is the Bride of the Lamb. iii. The battle with Satan In 1994, Apostle Darlan Rukih joined Lwanda Magwar Secondary school for her secondary education. One morning the students were sent home for school fee. On the way home she was troubled in heart how she was going to get money because she had no one to pay for her school fees except her mother who was very poor. As she was still painfully thinking, It came to her mind to cry to God. She saw a sand quarry by the road side and decided to go in and talk to God. While she was in prayer asking God to provide a way for the school fees, she heard a voice asking “do you know God is Holy and only hears the cry of the righteous but prayers of the sinners is like noise to Him? She answered “Yes I know God is Holy and only hears the righteous. The voice asked her again, “Are you righteous?”. At this point her eyes were opened and she saw all her sins from childhood. She cried to God in repentance. since that day she became an enemy to the evil things of Satan which she had been doing. One of them was enmity which she held against people who spoke evil about her birth out of wedlock, her being an intersex and those who spoke evil against her being religious. She also became tired of the lascivious deeds including lust, uncleanliness and fornication. She started to teach people to stop doing evil deeds of Satan reading from Galatians 5:19 and Mark 7:21. She converted many people who were convicted to turn away from their evil deeds, most of the converts were in Konyango Lwanda and Sori. In the process of teaching people to desist from the evil deeds, Apostle Darlan Rukih met Rosa Odero Nyarmatoyo wife of one Muok Genga of Kadem. Rosa was teaching about evil deeds and was directing people to cry for salvation. Apostle Darlan Rukih humbled herself before Rosa together with the people she had converted and they all cried for salvation before her. Apostle Darlan Rukih thereafter Apostle Darlan Rukih started to testify of Rosa as her preacher. As they continued in Fellowship in Kadem Rosa introduced Apostle Darlan Rukih to her church called the Power Image of God which was lead by Bishop Maricus Munda Otengo. One day Rosa informed her that there will be a convention of all members of the church in east Africa at the home of the Son of Ndege in Karungu whose wife was a member of the church. She asked Apostle Darlan Rukih to come with all her followers in Karungu as she also come with the congregation from Kadem. When Apostle Darlan Rukih went to that home, they were told that the meeting is in the Home of one Nyar Nyapara. Apostle Darlan Rukih lead her followers to the home of Nyar Nyapara as was directed but did not find Rosa and the entire congregation from Kadem as she had promised. They were told that Rosa is not a member of the church because she was excommunicated from that congregation in 1991. When Apostle Darlan Rukih went back to Rosa to know the truth, Rosa rejected her saying that she doesn’t want the heresy of the lost people. She told Darlan Rukih that God had spoken to her that those who had been saved are all lost and should seek for new salvation. She took all the followers that Apostle Darlan Rukih had in Kadem and created enmity between them. From this point their relationship became sour. Apostle Darlan Rukih sought to get another congregation. In 1995 after prayer and fasting at mount Tigra, Apostle Darlan Rukih decided to join the Truth and Justice ministry which was under the leadership of Bishop Raphael Ajimba. After joining that congregation with all her followers, she was forcefully baptized. After the baptism the church leader rejected her saying she is a new convert. He created enmity between Apostle Daraln Rukih and her followers. He went ahead and took all her followers and appointed some of them to various church posts. Even though Apostle Darlan Rukih did not protest this mistreatment, she was finally ejected from the church without any cause. Having nowhere to fellowship, Apostle Darlan Rukih resorted to fellowship alone and eventually made another congregation in Oodi beach in Karungu. In December 1995, one Oruko Ochola (now bishop and founder of……..) invited Apostle Darlan Rukih to his wedding which was being conducted by the church of God of prophecy in Gwasi. This marked the beginning of friendship between Darlan Rukih and the church of God of prophecy through Onyango Machogu who was a brother to Bishop Odero Machogu of the same church. iv. Marriage On 24th December 1996, Apostle Darlan Rukih got into marriage with Presican Fau the daughter of Masese Ongoro of Gwasi Suba. After getting into marriage with Presican Fau, she begun to be devoted as a husband regardless of her being an intersex. She suppressed her feminine part of her body to enable her lead a life in marriage as a husband. The marriage was not successful right from its initiation. v. The revelation of the way of being born again In 1997 in the month of December, Apostle Darlan Rukih went to Mt Tigra to cry out to God for two issues that she had. The first was the conflict which she had with the wife, second was the issue of bearing a child for they had lived for one year without any hopes of bearing a child. As she was crying out to God about her predicaments, she heard a voice asking her if she was a child of God. That question perplexed her because she had known that she was a child of God since birth because she found her mother worshipping God and therefore thought she is a child of God. It is here that God revealed to her the way of becoming a child of God as follows; a. Dedicating Jesus Christ as the father of God’s people b. Knowing the power in the name of Jesus Christ c. Believing in Jesus Christ d. Baptism in the name of Jesus e. Being saved in Jesus f. Confession of sins g. Receiving a new name from God After coming from the mountain, she started going through the steps as God revealed to her. After going through all the steps she got the power to identify as a child of God. In 1998 Apostle Darlan Rukih left Karungu walking as a pilgrim converting people to become children of God. His journey saw her through several places in Nyanza including Apondo Kano, Ahero, Awasi, Apondo Kimonge, Kogudi, Kosele, Oyugis and later on Nairobi. In all these places she managed to convert people by teaching them the religion of God’s people but some were scattered by her enemies while others were scattered through the wife who had not received the message she had. Apostle Darlan Rukih later moved to Mombasa in company of one servant of God named Chelion Ayot and that is where she got the first congregation in Magongo area, Likoni and Bondeni. When Apostle Darlan Rukih left them with Chelion as she went back to Nairobi to bring Presican Fau who had been left in the Home of Okelo Nyariaro in Karen, Chelion Baptized them without preaching to them. Later on he followed Apostle Darlan Rukih in Nairobi and informed her that he had baptized the people she left in Mombasa. When Apostle asked him why he baptized them before preaching to them, he answered that he taught them about baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and baptized them. When Apostle Darlan Rukih went back to Mombasa, the congregation rejected her saying that they had found the leader of light who had taught them Christ as all in all and baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ and so they didn’t need any other teaching from Darlan Rukih. That is how she left them and moved to Baxton where she was received and hosted by Carrilus Odima who was the leader of a congregation in baxton under the name of Ecclesiastes. vi. The first baptism In 1999 apostle Darlan Rukih started taking the Buxton congregation through the steps of being born again. This is where she first preached Jesus Christ to them, told them about power in the name of Jesus Christ, told them about believing in Jesus and Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Those who believed and confessed their faith in Jesus Christ were baptized on 25th December 1999 at the Nyali Bridge. All the congregation at Buxton was baptized including Carilus Odima who was their leader. On this day the congregation who had rejected apostle Darlan Rukih in Magongo also came but none of them was baptized. After some time, some of them realized that they were baptized before the gospel was preached to them. They requested to be preached to and be baptized again. After the baptism the church gained momentum and got established. In a short while before Apostle Darlan Rukih could take them through the remaining steps of being born again, a division arose in the church through the pioneer who had hosted her in that congregation. The congregation from Magongo fueled up the division and backed up the pioneer Carilus Odima who lead the Buxton congregation. After this division, the Buxton congregation ejected Apostle Darlan Rukih from their midst on a Sunday church service. A few people in that congregation who were from Shanzu backed her up and took her to Shanzu where they hosted her and they established a church in Shanzu. Because of the commotion during the split up, apostle Darlan Rukih did not continue with the steps of being born again but started to give Shanzu church teachings that would tame them to eliminate the hostility they had developed towards the congregation in Buxton with whom they split. vii. The church planting In May 2001, the Shanzu local church organized an outreach mission in Karungu at the home of Oswago where apostle Darlan Rukih was born and brought up. This meeting was attended by hundreds of people who majorly came from a church lead by one Opeyo Orwa who was also considered an apostle by his followers. Opeyo Orwa was preaching faith in Jesus instead of preaching Jesus Christ. When Apostle Darlan Rukih taught about the gospel that should be preached, most of them were convinced that they didn’t know that Jesus Christ is the gospel that should be preached and that Jesus Christ had not been preached to them as the gospel. They requested that Jesus be preached to them and those who believed were baptized including their leader Opeyo Orwa. Most of the people who left this meeting also went and testified to others. Later on Apostle Darlan Rukih embarked on a follow-up mission. It is during this follow-up that she established most local churches in Nyanza and rift valley. These local churches includes; Kadem Ong’er, Ndhiwa, Kadem Aego, Kadem Kabuto, Namba Kahezron, Migori Town, Nyamilu, Ragana, Ranen, Dede, Nyamuga, Ruga, Othoro, Kisumu,Uhanya, Mageta, Majimbo, Odhuro, Magombe, Nyaguda, Minya, Nyasita, Kobare, Kodera Forest, Mikiria and other local churches. From there the ministry gained momentum and many other local churches have since been established both locally and internationally. On Saturday 29th December 2001 at night during the second ever church convention which was held in Nyamilu Village of Suna Migori at the home of Odera, apostle Darlan Rukih appointed the first leaders in the ministry. The following people were appointed; Jacob Odanga Chairman Maurice Otieno Asst. chairman Chacha Secretary Asst. secretary Gordon Odero Peter Ajimba Organizing secretary Marashan Raya Treasurer Michael Nyakinda Prophetic leader Opeyo Orwa Evangelical leader Rediman Daya Pastoral leader Obonyo Ngare Teaching leader Catalina Saya Single women leader Paraka Sallok Married men leader Grace Odiyo Married women leader John Gogo Youth leader Afande Afande Apostolic Aide A section of the congregation lead by Opeyo Orwa who was one of the appointees opposed the appointments on the ground that the church of Jesus Christ cannot have leaders based on the doctrines of their former church. Next morning a swarm of bees attacked all those who opposed the appointment and gathered them at the centre of the home where the convention was held. Apsosle Darlan Rukih covered them in her coats and scarf ,the bees stopped stinging them but hovered over their heads. The bees finally left after apostle Darlan Rukih knelt down and pleaded with God to forgive them. In April 2002 Apostle Darlan Rukih organized a crusade and convention in Siaya town. The convention was at Awelo school while the crusade was conducted every evening at Ahindi gardens. This convention was marred with a lot of tension because people were curiously demanding miracles since there was a strong member named Okomo Arek who was seriously sick and came to die in the convention. Again, there was a great opposition from a splinter group from south Nyanza who came purposely to face off with apostle Darlan Rukih. There were no funds to accommodate the attendants because Owuor Abondo who was the Co-odinator for Central Nyanza declined to surrender the funds he had solicited to finance the convention. There was also a group who were wrangling for power and leadership. Opeyo Orwa wanted to be the sole preacher in the crusade while Jacob Odanga wanted to be given space perform wonders and miracles. In December 2002 another convention was held in Katito courtesy of Wilson Ouko Owino. This convention was also marred with tension for a rebel group came to face off with apostle Darlan Rukih. The group lead by Owuor Abondo who was the Central Nyanza coodinator and Salim Odeny who was a youth tried to disrupt the convention by protesting publicly against apostle Darlan Rukih claiming that she had a church registration which to them was a mark of the beast. However, at that time the ministry had not been registered. Apostle Darlan Rukih told them that she could not say that she is not lost because God has struggled to bring the true religion on earth and He has used different people. she narrated to them a long story of the people whom God had used starting from Constantine, martin Luther, Hellen G white and other people. She told them that maybe God has spoken to them to bring a true religion if it is true that what she had was not the true religion. She encouraged them to be strong and establish the true religion and when it is established, they should come back and call her to see the true religion because that is what she has longed for the whole of her life. She told them that she was ready to join them if they eventually establish the true religion. When they continued with the unrest they were stopped by Hubarn Abrisa. Jeran Haya exhorted the church to stay put. They walked out of the hall and no one followed them. Owuor Abondo went with all the money he had collected from central Nyanza for the convention. It was in this convention that Apostle Darlan Rukih first allowed women to preach the gospel. The women who preached were Regina Okello and Rudia Palizan all from Mombasa. viii. Establishment of the first mission center In 2002 Apostle Darlan Rukih thought it wise to recruit apostolic aides whom she would train and send out to the local churches because it was not possible for her to give services to the local churches alone due to their increased number and varied geographical locations. He first lived with them in Mombasa but the cost of living in town was too much and she had very minimal support from the church. She later on moved with them to Katito where their number swelled up and raising an urgent issue of finding a mission centre where they could live and train easily. In late 2003, God paved ways and Apostle Darlan Rukih bought a piece of land in Miranga Central Kanyadoto where the St. Darlan Rukih mission was established as the first mission centre in Bride of the Lamb Ministries International. The centre begun as a residence for the apostolic aides but has been expanded to host even the vulnerable people. Many other missions have since been established in varios places including, Mombasa, Kisumu, Uhanya, Majimbo, Gem, Mirunda, Nyakach and many others still under development. ix. Registration of the ministry In 2004, the Bride of the Lamb Ministries International was first registered in Kenya as Moses Mark Ngaw Ministries. The following were the first registered leaders; Chairperson Darlan Rukih Assistant Chair Person John Agina Kinyanyi Secretary General Godwins Oduor Amolo Asst. secretary Tobias Okinyi Onyango Treasurer Wilson Ouko Owino In April 2004 Apostle Darlan Rukih was abandoned by the wife who indulged in lascivious acts. This became a big blow to the whole ministry because her deeds were unveiled publicly affecting the whole congregation. This weakened the walk of purity in the church. During that time many people got absorbed in lasciviousness and it was not easy to stop or rebuke lasciviousness in the church. This act contributed to a division amongst the church members because it brought a confusion amongst the members since they didn’t know who to blame between the Apostle and the wife. Majority of the congregation sided with the wife while minority sided with the Apostle. This marked the beginning of internal murmurs in the Bride of the Lamb Ministries International. x. Establishing celibacy In the church In early 2005, one of the Apostolic aides named Baran Qarim offered himself to serve as a celibate apostolic aide. After his dedication, apostle Darlan Rukih made a public announcement throughout the church opening room for those who may wish to serve God without getting into marriage. Several young men offered themselves to serve in celibacy. This marked the beginning of monkhood in the Bride of the Lamb Ministries International. In May 2005, due to unending mischievous acts of the apostle’s wife, the entire ministry proposed that a new wife should be given to apostle to cover the shame that had been brought upon her. Different church groups proposed different women. The Apostolic aides proposed Catalina Saya who was a widow and was the caretaker of Apostle’s son Abidan Rasha after he was abandoned by his mother. The elderly women proposed Felina Vaga who was a widow who had offered herself to serve as an apostolic aide without re-marriage. The elders proposed Pauline Akinyi who was a young girl who was walking in purity in the church. These proposals were done during a church leaders meeting which was held in Kisumu in the house of Climentina Adongo who was one of the elderly women leaders. However the proposed women had shortcomings a. Catalina Saya was a widow and was also scheduled for an operation and was hospitalized at the time she was proposed. b. Feliana Vaga was an ailing HIV positive widow. c. Pauline Akinyi was still a youth who was immature physically and spiritually When it finally reached time for Apostle Darlan Rukih to make a choice, Because of various reasons she laid out, she declined to make a choice and that is how the marriage plan was shuttered. After Apostle Darlan Rukih had declined the proposed marriage, the church leaders went ahead and chose other young girls for consideration of marriage. The following young girls were proposed; Blinan Dafelina Eral When they were also presented to Apostle Darlan Rukih she declined to take any of them as wife but gave them conditions that they must abide with if they wished to live with her; They must accept to stay single without intimacy They must accept to serve God in the church forever They must accept to offer voluntary service of charity. They all accepted the conditions and took an oath of serving as Nuns in the church and were vested with the nun habits. This marked the foundation for Nunhood in the Bride of the Lamb Ministries International. Many more Nuns have since been admitted into the convent for training and service up to date xi. Enthronement of the Bride of the Lamb In early December 2007, the Bride of the Lamb Ministries International paid redemption price to the family where Apostle Darlan Rukih was brought up so that the church could have the full authority and responsibility of taking care of Apostle Darlan Rukih without any claims attached. The church sent seven elderly men and seven elderly women in company of some church leaders. A ceremony was organized in the home of Oswago and all relatives were invited to witness how the family handed over Apostle Darlan Rukih to the church. On 15th December 2007, the Bride of the Lamb Ministries International organized an enthronement ceremony at the Kisumu social hall where Apostle Darlan Rukih was enthroned. The church elders appointed one male who was to give all the regalia to Darlan Rukih on behalf of the church. The ceremony was conducted by the ministry secretary and treasurer. In this ceremony the following Regalia were given to Apostle Darlan Rukih. a. She was dressed in Royal gowns b. She was given a Heroes’ Medal c. She was given a covenant ring d. She was given a crown e. She was given a scepter f. She was given a throne g. She was given a certificate of Honor h. She was officially given the title Bride of the Lamb xii. Mass crusades In April 2008 the Bride of the Lamb Ministries International held its first ever mass crusade in Awendo town which attracted crowds as never before. The convention was held courtesy of Zeraya Xanda and Abrican Ogango. This marked the beginning of mega crusades in stadiums where Apostle Darlan Rukih attracted masses. The same were exhibited in Bondo, Migori,Ugunja, Homa-Bay, Sori, Siaya, Muhuru Bay, Awasi, and other places. Uptodate apostle Darlan Rukih attracts multitudes of followers in public functions. xiii. Revival of the church In 2010 apostle Darlan Rukih realized that many people were brought into the church through Apostolic aides were not admitted in the right channel in accordance to the message as was revealed to her by God. She therefore initiated a revival process to ensure that all people in the church went through the steps of being born again. xiv. Resignation from the ministry leadership In 2012, apostle Darlan Rukih officially resigned from ministry leadership and subsequently new ministry officials were appointed. The following were appointed to serve as ministry leaders Baran Qarim Chairman Hubarn Abrisan Asst. Chairman Catana Agasak Secretary General Copan Barat Treasurer. It was at this point that a new constitution was drafted. The name of the ministry was also changed from Moses Mark Ngaw Ministries to Bride of the Lamb Ministries International because Mark Ngaw whose name was used to register the ministry declined the use of his name in the ministry. Shortly after the new leaders took office, a splinter group lead by the secretary split from the ministry. They caused havoc and fabricated a child trafficking case against apostle Darlan Rukih to blackmail her. The matter was latter dismissed at a Mombasa children’s court after the child confessed in court that he has never been stolen. The mother also testified to the court how Apostle Darlan Rukih had supported her and family and was the one still supporting them after they were abandoned. After the fall off of the ministry secretary Gafelan Brison was appointed to take charge as the ministry secretary. The leaders have since worked hand in hand with the able advice of Apostle Darlan Rukih to run the ministry successfully
