Pastor John Mark Harrison
Dr. John Mark Harrison is the Pastor of First Baptist Concord in Knoxville, Tennessee. He previously served as a student pastor for Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, campus pastor for Biltmore Baptist Church in Arden, North Carolina, and lead pastor for Apex Baptist Church in Apex, North Carolina. John Mark surrendered to ministry while attending The University of Alabama, where he met his wife Brigitte. John Mark and Brigitte have two children, Cade and Mia. He received his bachelor’s degree from Samford University and holds Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. His favorite part of the ministry is to see people come to know Christ, learn to walk with Christ, find out what gifts and abilities God has given them, and then discover their ministry in the church. He appreciates the leadership challenges of the established church and desires to lead the church to impact its community for Christ.
