Pastor Razel Jones
Pastor Razel Jones ministers with a mission of helping people actualize their potential. His preaching and teaching focuses on helping people discover their strengths and gain victory over their struggles to become the overcomers God has made them. With a unique perspective on the Word of God, Jones is able to deliver bold, thought-provoking insights providing useful revelation for real-life application. He authored his first book, See What You Hear: Actualizing God’s Vision for Your Life in 2016 and looks forward to releasing more publications in the future. His ministry expresses his passion for praise and worship, purpose and destiny, and complete healing for the whole person.
Jones completed a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwood University and a Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature at Grand Valley State University, and studied Music Industry Management at Ferris State University. Jones is a Gallup-certified, sought-after Strengths Advocate/Facilitator. Jones was licensed as a minister by Bishop Robert E. Smith, Sr. in the mid 1990’s and was ordained in 2004 by Bishop P.A. Brooks, general board member of the Church of God in Christ, Inc. This ordination came after completing an intensive study of theology, church doctrine, ministerial roles and biblical studies with Bishop Alfred Knight, Chancellor of Power of the Word Bible College and Seminary. In January of 2009, Jones founded and began to pastor Victory Life Christian Ministries in Big Rapids, Michigan and now leads The Threshing Floor of Middle Tennessee. He is accompanied and accented in ministry by his lovely and talented wife, Lady Camille Jones and their daughter, Kayden.
