Lead Pastor Pastor Demetric Norwood (Pastor D)
Pastor D is passionate about Christ and seeing God move in the lives of His people. He was called to preach the gospel at 15 years of age. After graduating college from New Mexico State University, he went on to meet his beautiful wife, Jennifer Norwood. They have 2 sons, Nathan and Noah! Pastor D presents the gospel with a tenacious personality and paints a vivid picture of the grace and love of God! He’s not a “religious” person but one who feels like a personal relationship with God is what keeps people yearning for God’s presence.
Pastor D and Jennifer met in 2003 through some mutual friends. After dating for 1 year, they got married in 2005. However, their marriage hasn’t always been what it is today. In 2014, they were separated and headed for divorce. Thank God for repentance and reconciliation; to Him first, then to each each other! Since then, they’ve been on a never ending honeymoon and are fulfilling God’s plan for their lives, their family and the community of East Fort Worth!
