Senior Pastor Todd Boddy
I welcome you to visit us at FCCP. We are a very warm and no-pretenses kind of congregation. We are conservative evangelical in our beliefs, based on the Bible. Jesus came to seek and to save the lost.
I have been in ministry for 40 years, bi-vocational most of that time, and enjoy preaching and teaching the Bible. I graduated from Dallas Seminary eons ago. I am married to Loretta, who works for a local law firm in commercial real-estate. We have 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Our current culture has made participation in a local church a low priority; you can see the results for yourself. We are a hold out. We consider ourselves like many small congregations a "remnant" church. The world actually has showed up at our doorstep and now we must answer a new call for prayer, evangelism, and discipleship.
Our congregation is allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us in discovering new methods outside of "church" for evangelism. We are not a program driven church, but have taken new avenues like cigar bars, golf courses and coffee shops, cross cultural outreach, community partnerships with other churches, podcasts and internet to reach new people.
Jesus call to follow Him is just as much alive and powerful now as it was 2000 years ago. If you want "church in a can", we won't help.
