The Mission of United for Christ Baptist Church is to bring men,women and children into a right relationship with Christ and to edify (build-up) the Body of Christ through the proclamation of the Gospel, through teaching and studying God's Word, through evangelism and missions and through Christian fellowship always remembering that we are one in the Lord.

Ministry is designed (1) to bring people to saving faith in Christ and then assist them to grow in Christ-likeness; and (2) to bring every believer into a vital, authentic relationship with God through the grace of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, such that every believer glorifies God in thought, word, and deed both in the church and in the world with the ultimate goal of presenting every one complete in Christ (Col. 1:28).
The purpose of ministry is not to “do” church. “The essence of the church must be more than just doing. The church must draw its essence from God and his righteousness and holiness. It must take shape based on His worth as Creator. The ministries of the church must meet the needs of the congregation and therefore, need determines what additional ministries are developed in the church.
United for Christ Baptist Church does not discriminate in the services that are available to the public and the members of the congregation. All of the services of the church are open to those that are seeking Christ as their Personal Savior.
BELIEFS
The Baptist tradition is one of the largest of the Protestant Christian denominations. United for Christ Baptist church agree with the basic Protestant doctrines, but stress the belief that only Christian believers should be baptized (called "believer's baptism") and that this baptism should occur by immersion, a practice we trace back to the early Church. We believe that the local church has autonomy but are connected to each other through various associations. United for Christ has an emphasis on believer's baptism, and an understanding of the church as primarily a community of believers. The two primary rites of the Baptist tradition are baptism and communion, or the Lord's Supper. Many Christian traditions regard baptism and the Lord's Supper as "sacraments," often described as outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual grace.
