Senior Pastor Randy Phillips
PASTOR REVEREND RANDY E. PHILLIPS, SR.
Pastor Reverend Randy E. Phillips Sr. is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio located in Hamilton County. He is the
son and youngest child of the late Deacon James Phillips Sr. and Buena Phillips. Randy confessed Christ
and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church at the age of 6 under the pastorate Rev. Dr. Otis Moss Jr.
He is married to Reverend Michelle D. Phillips a native of Hertford County, North Carolina. The Phillips’
have two wonderful children, a son Randy E. Phillips Jr. and a daughter Miranda M. Phillips. They have
one daughter-in-law, Erica (Price) Phillips and two granddaughters Jasmine and Mila and two grandsons
Maxwell and Maverick.
He has been employed by Raytheon Technologies (now under Nightwing) for the last 35 years plus as a
Senior Field Design Engineer. Reverend Phillips is also a veteran of the United States Army and United
States Army Reserve.
Pastor Phillips served on the Deacon Ministry at Beulah Baptist Church under the leadership of his
former late Pastors, Rev. James E. Preast Jr. and Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Young. He was ordained in 1997 by
Rev. James E. Preast Jr. and served as a past chairman of the deacon’s ministry from 2000-2005.
In the year 2011, Pastor Randy acknowledged and accepted his call to the ministry under his late Pastor
Nathaniel Young. After preaching his initial sermon on January 12, 2013 he received his license to
preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the Beulah Baptist Church under Pastor Young. Pastor Phillips was
ordained to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ by Beulah Baptist Church on January 29, 2017 under his
current Pastor Reverend Dr. W. David Lee. Rev. Phillips has held many positions in the Ministry and
served as Beulah’s first Executive Pastor in 2017. Pastor Randy also has served as a chaplain for the US
government since 2020.
On March 6, 2022 Pastor Phillips was called as Pastor-Elect of Arm of the Lord Ministries. He officially
became the Senior Pastor of Arm of the Lord Ministries on May 1, 2022.
Pastor Randy preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him alone. His favorite scripture is Romans 10:9
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
