Meet The Pastor
Pastor Richard Fuller
Greetings in Christ! I would like to personally invite you to visit our church family at Crossroads Baptist Church in Leesburg, Virginia. We are a small, traditional Southern Baptist Convention affiliated church where we worship and serve the Lord, care for each other, and serve our community.
I preach the Word of God in an exegetical manner - meaning that I strive to bring forth a timeless truth found in the text of the scripture, and I expound on it and how it applies to our lives in our time and culture. The sermons are normally 20-30 minutes in length. I prefer to preach verse-by-verse through a book, although occasionally topical or short series will be presented.
By God's grace, I was able to complete a Masters of Christian Ministry degree with a focus in homiletics from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, where I also completed a Theological Studies Graduate Certificate. My undergraduate degree is in history. I was ordained and previously served as an associate pastor at Potomac Baptist Church in nearby Sterling, Virginia. I served our country as a United States Marine for eight years, and as a government civil servant for 12 years.
I married to my high school sweetheart, Tracy, in 1997 and we have two teen-aged daughters.
