Meet The Pastor
William Yagel
William is a lifelong Virginian and Episcopalian who grew up in Lancaster County before attending The College William and Mary. After graduating in 1997, he excelled in his career in construction, beginning as a residential carpenter and rising to be a project manager at firms first in Hampton Roads and then in Charlottesville. William has spent many years connected to Shrine Mont (The Camp and Conference Center for the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, located near Harrisonburg), most recently as the Director of St. George’s Camp. He led the camp from 2018 through 2019 and would have loved to return in 2020 were it not for the pandemic.
