Senior Pastor John Brunt
John Brunt was called out of retirement in March of 2016 to pastor the Edmonds Adventist Church after the untimely death of its former pastor. Pastor Brunt’s fifty-year ministry has been spent in both pastoral ministry and Christian Higher Education. He served as a professor of Theology at Walla Walla University in Washington and La Sierra University in Riverside, California. He spent twelve years as Academic Vice-President of Walla Walla University and thirteen years as senior pastor of the Azure Hills Church in Grand Terrace, California. His wife Ione is a retired certified nurse midwife who delivered over 4000 babies in four hospitals over her career. They have two children and three grandsons.
