Meet The Pastor
Jake Stimpson
I’m Jake, and this is my wife Jessie. We’ve been in ministry in one form or another for the past 20 years. We love to help people know Jesus better and walk with Him in radical faith, wherever that takes them. In 2004, we began serving in youth ministry right here in Oconomowoc and throughout the Lake Country area. In 2010, we left our home in suburbia to reach inner-city Milwaukee, helping plant a new church on the Eastside. Two years later, we moved to Romania to plant a handful of churches over the next 5 1/2 years.
In 2017, feeling God’s call to return to the States, we landed on a farm in the middle of nowhere raising sheep and goats for a couple years. Yep, really. We’ve been all around the world sharing the love of Jesus – Costa Rica, Haiti, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, England, Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania… and more hopefully to come!
Now we find ourselves taking on our biggest challenge yet – suburbia! We recently took over leading Cornerstone Church in Oconomowoc, and we’re excited to see all God does.
We’ve been married for 18 years and have 7 amazing kids, 2 born during our time in Romania.
