Evangelical Presbyterian
Conservative pastors and leaders formed a new branch of the Presbyterian Church in 1981 around the following; “reformed in doctrine, presbyterian in polity, and evangelic in spirit”. They sought to establish a new church committed to the Word of God and free of the growing theological liberalism that they saw in their churches.
