Our mission is to be a stabilizing force in our neighborhood for all demographics through Spiritual Growth opportunities, Economic Development, Health & Wellness and Education. We partner with community organizations and individuals to help in breaking the poverty mindset of the area, reduce crime and build a strong, safe community for our children and grandchildren.

No one is a stranger at Blue Hills Church of the Nazarene. I found this to be true 20 years ago when I walked through the church doors for the first time. You might come in as a stranger but you will leave as family! A personal note, I didn't start attending church...

Blue Hills Community Church is actively committed to the coming Kingdom of Christ and His rule on earth; preparing His bride the church for Jesus’ global reign. Let His glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14) Join us in building youth programs to increase literacy and decrease crime, financial literacy for all ages, health education and awareness, food and clothing assistance, employment and business partnerships and discipleship classes bridging the gap between the Bible and daily life.

Tuesday night basketball/character development has partnered with Caring for Kids to reach 5th and 6th graders in our community, helping them make better life decisions and transition more smoothly to middle school.
An after school tutoring program is in progress, along with a college and career group for young adults. In the meantime, we have TUGS, which is a group of young adults who do spoken word around the city and across the nation.
We are also working on partnerships with community service organizations and homeless shelters.
We are a growing ministry, and we need your help to reach out to your area of the community and make a change. Let us know how we can work together to make our neighborhoods safer, healthier and happier.

BELIEFS
We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
