Meet The Pastor
Pastor Ian Robbins
In the summer of 2010 Ian and TJ Robbins felt a strong pull to Montana. They had no idea what was in store, but they knew that God had a plan and a purpose for their lives. They packed up their home in the Tennessee/Mississippi area and headed towards the unknown with a heart to serve in any way that God could use them. They quickly fell in love with all that Montana has to offer: the mountains, rivers, wildlife, but most of all they were drawn to the amazing people.
They began attending Sportsmen Church in Stevensville, Montana in 2012. The sense of family and community in Stevensville was unlike anything the Robbins had ever experienced. They were so excited to find a church family and a place to belong. Brodie Swisher, the founding Sportsmen Church Pastor was so instrumental in mentoring Ian and challenging their family to dig deeper to discover God's will for their lives. Ian answered the call to be the Lead Pastor in September of 2013 and is so excited to see what God has in store for Sportsmen Church, the community, and his family as they begin this journey.
Ian and TJ have a heart to reach the lost for Christ. Building relationships and sharing God's love is what Sportsmen Church is all about. Whether shooting critters, camping, Life Groups, or simply hanging out...they love serving in a unique Montana Ministry that seeks to break down barriers that keep people from being involved in the worship of Jesus and fellowship with others.
They have a passion for men's and women's ministry and love to empower others to find their purpose and calling for God's kingdom. They are excited about serving alongside a great team, bringing the message of Jesus in a real and relevant way, and seeing lives changed.
They have a son named Given and are praying that God will expand their family.
