Meet The Pastor
Pastor Steve Bailey
Hey there! We’re all on a journey, aren’t we? Even though I haven’t met you, I know you have a story…and that your story matters to God! (It matters to me too!)
My story began in 1961 in Michigan as 4th child of Jim and Helen Bailey. The tapestry of my life changed dramatically at 9 years old when I bowed my heart and life to Jesus and that started me on quite a journey!
What words describe your journey? When I think of my 50 plus years, words come to mind like “salvation”, “suburban”, “loss”, “ping pong” (I know…random!), “calling”, “Germany”, “broken engagement”, “broken glasses”… just to name a few. And, since you don’t know what those words mean (in relation to my journey) I’d be happy to fill in the holes when we get an opportunity to chat sometime!
Oh, but there are four more words (rather…names) that describe God’s blessing in my life at a whole different level:
Caitlin…my discerning, wise, musical, hospitable wife!
Sophia…our 11 year old smiley, reading, responsible, loyal first born.
Josiah…our 9 year old running, energetic, extroverted, expressive 2nd.
Molly…our 7 year old fun, skipping, artistic, cuddly third.
