Our History…
We began as a church when Mark Hufford, a pastor at Johnston Evangelical Free Church (Johnston, IA) had a passion to reach folks in the small town of Ankeny - back when Ankeny used to be a small town! After years of significant ministry, in 2010 Mark followed the Lord to another position. In the summer of 2012, God brought Pastor Steve Bailey to lead us.
Our Present and Future…
God has been good to us and shown Himself faithful! Our heart, as a body of Christ, is to be fully devoted to the Word of God - to each other - living 24/7 for Jesus. We are group that loves deeply and loves well.
While we love the fellowship we have, we are continually seeking to reach out! We will not be a content or self-serving church. As God leads, we will follow. When God points, we will respond. We are thrilled to see what God has in store…the work He has planned before us and that we have yet to do!
