Meet The Pastor
Rev. Dr. Brett Travis
Rev Travis is a retired Army chaplain and pastors Emmaus Abbey Parish in Knoxville, TN. He is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary, Liberty University professional counseling program and University of Kentucky. His areas of study were in Theology, pastoral counseling, evangelism, discipleship and missions.
Emmaus Abbey Parish is a ministry called to reach the lost, the least and the poor. To help those hurt by the church and to assist in the reconciliation of relationships, marriage counseling, individual, emotional and the prayer for inner healing in peoples lives.
We have a proprietary chapel started by Dr. Travis and his wife to counter all the post modern era churches in the city NOT teaching the Bible nor discipling and equipping people in the holy scripture. You are invited to come to the Emmaus Abbey House for services every Sunday at 1030am.
