Emmaus Abbey Church offers a Christian Counseling ministry in the Knoxville and surrounding areas: Individual counseling ages 16 and older, Marriage and Family counseling, counseling for emotional issues, anxiety, depression. We do not conduct substance abuse related counseling. We work off a sliding scale so that anyone seeking counseling can afford to be seen by a Christian counselor. Local Missions: We help veterans. Emmaus is a Military Veteran Friendly Congregation (MVFC). We support local agencies such as Compassion Coalition and Knox Rescue Mission in providing food, clothing, etc. Furthermore, these services are only a short term fix or temporary and not to be relied upon as a consist source of welfare. We pray that you are attending a local church in your time of need. That is where you will find hope, change and support with all your needs.
