Meet The Pastor
Reverend Diana L. Johnson
Our Pastor and Spiritual Director is Rev. Diana L. Johnson, RScM. She has been an active student of the Science of Mind and Spirit (SoMaS) for over twenty-seven years and has been a fully credentialed Prayer Practitioner (RScP) since 2014. Diana earned her Certificate in Ministerial Education from the Centers for Spiritual Living School of Spiritual Leadership. And her Certificate in Spiritual Education from the Holmes Institute School of Consciousness Studies. She became a fully credentialed Minister of Religious Science (RScM) through the Emerson Theological Institute in August, 2019. She has been teaching classes in the Science of Mind and Spirit (SoMaS) and related New Thought/Ancient Wisdom philosophies; hosting spiritual Book Study Groups; and facilitating prayer and meditation circles since 2012.
Rev. Diana was a certificated Home School Teacher and Facilitator for fifteen years before becoming a Practitioner of Religious Science (another name for SoMaS). During that time she set up and administered a regional Charter School Learning Center for home school families, as well as facilitating home study plans for families under her supervision. With as many as seventeen families and up to forty students, ranging from Kindergarten to grade twelve, Rev. Diana’s work in Public Education was nothing short of a ministry, serving students and parents with a wide variety of needs.
While serving as a public schoolteacher, Rev. Diana attended numerous trainings and developed a deep repertoire of powerful teaching strategies that she has carried forward to her work in teaching adults. Her continuous study, meditation and prayer work have given her a solid grasp of the Spiritual Truth she presents in her classes and sermons. Taken all together, her life has been a preparation for this Holy Moment, as she begins to lead Mystic Heart Spiritual Center into the future. Rev. Diana invites you to join us in
