Meet The Pastor
Pastor Joel Saucedo
Pastor Joel began his ministry with us in January of 2021. Rev. Joel Moises Saucedo is a fourth generation Disciple of Christ and a native of South Texas where he raised among the family of faith at Iglesia Cristiana Bet-El (Discipulos de Cristo). He is married to Mrs. Xee Saucedo and they have three sons, Joel Adres Saucedo, Noel Isaac Saucedo, and Amiel Moisés Saucedo. Pastor Joel earned his BA from Texas A&M University - Kingsville in 1996 and his M-Div from Brite Divinity School in 2009. He has served as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Corpus Christi, TX and a Bilingual Victim Services Coordinator in the D.A.’s office in Fort Worth, TX before entering full time ministry. Pastor Joel has served Disciples of Christ congregations in Pearlsburg, VA, Corpus Christi, TX and in Huntsville, TX. before coming to Johns Creek Christian Church in January of 2021.
