Meet The Pastor
Pastor David Frey
Pastor Frey was born and raised in Michigan with three siblings. He attended a Lutheran day school in the greater Detroit area and completed high school at Michigan Lutheran Seminary. He graduated from Martin Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and enrolled in Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in the fall of '07. Four years later he was assigned to serve Living Word Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mission Viejo, CA.
"Grace, mercy, and peace be yours from God our Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our desire is that you come to know the grace of God for you. Grace is undeserved love. Mercy is help for the helpless. Peace is a pure conscience before God. All three are found in the death of Jesus. God loved us because we could not love Him and sent His Son to die for the sins of all. He helped us because we could not fix this broken world or stop death's slow advance. Yet because of His cross, we have peace. God is our Father. Jesus is our Brother. The Spirit is our Comforter. Heaven is our home. Thanks be to God!
